Promoting local art and culture: another of the Foundation's missions

With the start of the Makwa Foundation adventure, efforts to develop partnerships and sponsorships that we have nurtured in the past will now be able to come under its umbrella. These activities are in line with the Foundation's cultural and artistic mission.

We have a number of partnerships that focus on the continuity of Quebec's heritage. We want to support organizations that want to encourage future generations to contribute to the arts and culture of our province.

We also want to develop partnerships with aboriginal cultures to give their history and culture a place within our foundation.

Future partnership :

Le Ripon Trad - traditional music festival

Folklore Outaouais - regional organization promoting living heritage through all winds.

Tissée Serrée - discovering traditional Quebec dance

Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de l'Outaouais - offers young musicians opportunities for musical development

Initial meeting to develop collaborations with First Nations partners Indigenous Experience and Kina8at

We'd like to offer local artists, who work with respect for Quebec traditions, the opportunity to promote their product and create an annual thematic event, "La fête aux village".

We want to donate to non-profit organizations that support our regional communities in order to offer a better holiday season through assistance programs for low-income families.

Consider activities that allow families to relax in our park and offer our facilities to organizations to immerse themselves directly in these different universes.
